MSNBC host Rev. Al Sharpton took time out during his show last night to lash out at ‘fake Christians’ like Rev. Franklin Graham.
“We’ve been hearing a lot about faith and religion in recent days. This morning Franklin Graham went on national television to question President Obama’s Christian faith… I am a Christian but I don’t require everyone to believe what I believe and share my faith. I believe in Jesus. I read and preached since I was a little boy. A Jesus that healed the sick, opened blind eyes, opened deaf ears. But He never asked anyone he healed what faith they believed in and never told them they had to be with him in order to get healed. Real Christians help heal people and help people. They don’t talk about it. Their works speak for themselves.”
Of course, this sermon comes from the same guy who organized race riots in Brooklyn.
Obviously, Reverend Al has never heard of Samaritan’s purse, Graham’s relief organization that operates in more than 100 countries.
