ABC’s “This Week” Spends ONE WHOLE MINUTE On the Van Jones Resignation–
In an impressive display of state-run journalism at its best, White House Spokesman Robert Gibbs was even asked a question about Van Jones’ resignation on ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos:
From the video: Just hours after Van Jones resigned amid a “vicious smear campaign” as President Obama’s green jobs czar, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, who was just scheduled to appear on “This Week,” said that “what Van Jones decided was that the agenda of this President was bigger than any one individual.
“He was going to get in the way of the President, and ultimately this country, moving forward on something as important as creating jobs in a clean energy economy.”
Gibbs also said that Obama does not endorse Jones’ previous controversial comments.
Could you imagine if something like this would happen to a Republican administration?
Do you think they’d spend more than a minute discussing the controversy?
