Stimulus Checks Go to Convicts— Veteran's Education Checks Delayed

FOX News reported that 1,700 convicts were mistakenly sent stimulus checks this year:

The inspector general’s office for the Social Security Administration is looking into the problem as part of its broader audit on stimulus spending. The Social Security Administration acknowledged the $425,000 glitch following a report that nearly two-dozen inmates in Massachusetts had wrongly received the $250 stimulus checks.

Meanwhile FOX News also reported that tens of thousands of student veterans will not receive their government checks on time:

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is telling university officials nationwide there will be a six- to eight-week delay in processing payments under the new GI bill, citing a massive backlog of applications.

Let’s give them health care!
