Figures. Media Was Silent When Obama Left His Elected Office Early

The state-run media was absolutely horrified that Governor Sarah Palin would leave her elected office early. They said it was bizarre and the end of her career. The liberal blogs called her a sissy and made retard jokes about her son Trig.

It’s funny then how they ignored it when Obama left office early.
Via GovTrack.us:

Barack Obama missed 314 of 1300 roll call votes (24%) since Jan 6, 2005. The graph below shows the percent of roll call votes Barack Obama was absent for during the member’s time in Congress.

The absentee rate is in red. The two black dotted lines provide a context for understanding the significance of the absentee rate. The lower dotted line shows the median value for all Members of Congress in that time period. The upper dotted line shows the 90th percentile. A Member who approaches the upper dotted line is in the worst 10 percent of Congress.

Barack Obama played hookie for 2 years.
But unlike Sarah Palin, he kept his job while he campaigned just like his wife Michelle who was paid $63,000 in 2008 for a job she didn’t go to.
