On the first day of the RNC Convention in St. Paul last year angry young Leftists and anarchists attacked RNC busses en route to the Excel Center.
The anti-Republican loons knew when the busses would be heading to the convention center and were waiting with bags of cement and sand.
They nailed the bus I was riding on as we drove under a bridge.
And, they nearly killed us!
These same anarchists and antiwar nuts were protesting on top of the interstate bridges earlier in the day.

THE LEFTISTS ALMOST KILLED US!
Minneapolis police were later able to identify one of the hooligans, Dave Mahoney, from his tatoo in video that was shot at the scene. They arrested him. The police were also able to track down the victims riding in the bus after discovering the video posted at Founding Bloggers. Mahoney was originally charged with several offenses and was faced possibly 20 years in prison.
Dave Mahoney tried to kill or wound a busload of seniors at the GOP convention.
On Monday, June 1, Mahoney was in court and pleaded guilty.
Dave Hahoney will likely serve only 56 days in jail for the assault that about killed a busload of Republican delegates, mostly seniors, heading to the convention.
Twin Cities Indymedia has this account:
In a suprising turn of events to many, RNC activist Dave Mahoney pled guilty this morning to one count of second-degree assault. 30-40 supporters packed Judge Paulette Flynn’s courtroom nearly to capacity, as Mahoney told the court he was guilty of the single assault charge in exchange for his other nine felonies being dropped. Under the plea bargain, offered only a week ago after a months-long demonization campaign by the prosecutor that saw his charges increase from two to six to ten, Mahoney will likely serve a maximum of 56 days in jail and then be able to return to his native England. His sentencing will be in the afternoon on July 9.
