Rush Limbaugh at CPAC: Democrat Party Actively Sought Failure of Iraq War (Video)

Rush Limbaugh spoke at CPAC today.
Rush told the audience:

“Ladies and Gentlemen of the United States, the Democrat Party has actively not just sought the failure of Republican presidents and policies, and now wars for the first time… The democrat party doesn’t stop at failure. Talk to Robert Bork, talk to Judge Clarence Thomas, they try to destroy lives, reputations and character.”

It will be hard for democrats to argue that.
Here’s the video clip from CPAC:

FOX News and CNN are aired his talk live. (CNN?)
Here’s a report:

Rush Limbaugh was 15 minutes early to the stage, but no one was complaining Saturday evening in Washington, D.C., at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

Quite the contrary. On the conference’s third and final day, the conservative talk radio host was the headliner, and the crowd greeted him with an immense ovation.

“Ladies and gentleman, this is my first ever address to the nation,” Limbaugh joked, noting that FOX News and C-SPAN were broadcasting the speech live.

Limbaugh then spent his first 15 minutes giving an impassioned summary of what it means to be a conservative before turning the focus to the movement’s recent electoral record.

“We can take this country back. All we need is to nominate the right candidate,” he said.

The speech was the culmination of an event that featured often fiery speeches by some of top names of the conservative movement and the Republican party, including former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee and conservative commentator Ann Coulter.

Mitt Romney won the straw poll for president.

UPDATE: What a terrific speech!
Does anyone know if this will be aired again? I’d appreciate a heads up. I was not able to record the whole thing and missed a couple of segments I wanted to post on YouTube.

UPDATE 2: Kitty says C-SPAN will re-air Rush’s speech at 8:00pm tonight.
Great.
