Almost every Friday night a Christian group had been meeting at the corner of Castro and 18th Streets in San Francisco’s Castro District to convert gays to the heterosexual lifestyle. But, this weekend the gays weren’t having it. They chased the Christians out of Castro. Police had to show up to escort them to safety:
