Obama gives “Michi-anders” a treat when he introduced “friend and Democratic leader” John Edwards back in May:
Obama showered his good friend with praise:
“I felt guilty about not campaigning. And so as a consequence, I’ve decided that I would try to give you something special. I’ve decided that on my first full day of campaigning in Michigan that I wouldn’t be fooling around. That I wasn’t just going to do the same old thing. But, I decided that I was going to bring up one of the greatest leaders we have in the Democratic Party. Please give it up for my friend- John Edwards.”
