Sometimes you just have to sit there and wonder if the mainstream media really believes its own BS:
“McCain joins Obama on offshore drilling”
Blue Grass, Red State notes the lunacy behind the headline.
It was only last Friday that Obama finally flip-flopped on offshore drilling. In fact, it was Barack Obama who just two weeks ago insisted the McCain-Bush offshore drilling plan would not ease gas prices:
“What wouldn’t do a thing to lower gas prices is John’ McCain’s new proposal, a proposal adopted by George Bush as well, to open up Florida’s coastline to offshore drilling.”
Obviously, McCain has been promoting offshore drilling for weeks now.
But, somehow this fact was completely missed by the International Herald Tribune.
Amazing.
