Carburetor Dung may be a popular rock band but the audience could not forgive the lead vocalist for mooning them during the “Lick” song.
They beat him mercilessly as he left the stage.
Religion of Peace and NST Online reported:

The singer of a rock band was assaulted by a mob for exposing his buttocks during a performance at a rally against price hikes yesterday.

Alak, lead vocalist of Carburetor Dung, pulled his trousers down in front of about 3,000 people in a rendition of a song called Jilat (Lick) at Stadium Kelana Jaya.

A section of the audience, believed to be Pas supporters, threw water bottles at him, forcing the band to end its programme.

As the singer was coming down from the stage, the mob punched and kicked him.

PKR Youth members, wearing blue T-shirts, whisked Alak out of the stadium but they were stopped outside the gate by an angry crowd.

They then brought the singer back into the stadium, where he sought refuge underneath the stage. It is learnt the singer suffered bruises to his head.

Independent film-maker Hishamuddin Rais, who was in charge of entertainment for the day-long event, was rushed by PKR Youth members into a vehicle, which left in a hurry.
