The Obama has landed…
Antiwar Democratic candidate Barack Obama landed safely in Baghdad today.
Look for a “refining” of his Iraq policy any moment now.
Of course, he was able to fly safely into Iraq thanks to the success of the Bush Surge that was put into place last year. Barack Obama opposed the surge and would have allowed genocide in Iraq if it were his choice. Instead, today the War in Iraq is won and antiwar Democrats like Barack Obama are able to safely travel there.
Horrible.
Obama wanted the US to flee the battle for Iraq yet today he has the nerve to sit and lecture the Iraqi Prime Minister.

The BBC reported:
US Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama has arrived in Iraq on the second stage of a major foreign tour.
Mr Obama, who is visiting as part of a Congressional delegation, will meet senior Iraqi officials, military leaders and US embassy officials.
They will also meet service personnel and civilian staff working in Iraq.
On Sunday, Mr Obama said during a visit to the Afghan capital, Kabul, that the country had to be the central focus in the battle against terrorism.
He told the US television channel, CBS, that the situation in the country, where Nato-led troops face a growing insurgency by the Taleban, was “precarious and urgent”.
Mr Obama has advocated the withdrawal of US combat troops from Iraq within 16 months of taking office should he be elected president in November.
However, he has said he is prepared to be flexible on details, and to leave some troops behind for special tasks, such as training Iraqi forces and tackling remnants of al-Qaeda in Iraq.
Today, Obama will meet with General Petraeus, a man he opposed and Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, a man he’s frequently ridiculed.
Do you suppose Obama will apologize to these two men today?
Obama is traveling with fellow antiwar senators Jack Reed and Chuck Hagel who were also wrong about Iraq.

If John McCain were on his game he would hammer Obama for being WRONG on the surge, over, and over, and over,…
If McCain allows Obama to convince people that his plan was the right plan all along, as he is tried to do this weekend, then he really does deserve to lose.
