Lebanese Leaders Bow Down to Hezbollah

The Lebanese Government just bowed down to the Iranian-backed Hezbollah terrorists.

Last week the majority government took the bold step in dismantling Hezbollah’s fiber-optic telecommunications spying network that was installed at the Beirut airport. The democratically elected majority also fired the Hezbollah-backed airport administrator.
This angered the Hezbollah terror organization who then declared war on the country. At least 68 people were killed in the fighting as Hezbollah ransacked, torched and shot up the country.
Today the majority backed down and gave Hezbollah everything they asked for.
The LA Times reported:

The Lebanese government late Wednesday formally rescinded decisions that sparked days of violence in the country, a move aimed at easing tensions between American- and Iranian-backed political camps vying for power in the country.

During a visit by mediating Arab foreign ministers, Lebanon’s information minister said the government would back off on decisions announced last week to declare illegal the Shiite Muslim militia Hezbollah’s private fiber-optic telecommunications network and to fire the pro-Hezbollah head of security at Beirut’s international airport.

“Since the government is greatly concerned with the higher interest, the government decided to approve the rescinding of the two decisions,” Ghazi Aridi, the minister, said in a televised appearance.

The majority just bowed down to the Hezbollah terrorists.

The Lebanese Political Journal offered the latest observations on the ground.

And this is comforting…
Hezbollah stole computer hard drives when it ransacked the offices of the government supporters.
