The Spanish Church urged voters today to support candidates who support the sanctity of life.
The bishops also oppose appeasing terrorists- a policy by the Zapatero government that has failed to persuade terrorists from planning attacks inside Spain.
AKI reported:
In a rare move, Spain’s bishops have urged voters to endorse politicians who support the sanctity of the family and oppose dialogue with terrorist organisations.
The bishops’ organisation, the Spanish Episcopal Conference (CEE), has asked people to refrain from voting for politicians who negotiate with the Basque separatist organisation ETA.
But it fell short of endorsing the opposition right-wing conservative party Partido Popular (PP).
