Young Missouri Governor Matt Blunt joined Governor Mitt Romney, Former Senator Rick Santorum, Former Senator Jim Talent, Missouri Speaker of the House Rod Jetton and several Missouri Republican Representatives at a Romney in St. Louis this afternoon.

Hundreds of St. Louisans came out to see Mitt in a final Missouri swing before Super Tuesday.

Rick Santorum announced his endorsement for Mitt Romney before the two governors arrived. I also had a few minutes to talk with Rick and he said he was very concerned about the direction the Republican Party may take if Senator McCain is nominated as the Republican presidential candidate.

The room was extremely dark but the Rick’s message was right on.
Respected conservative Jim Talent is a huge addition to the Romney team. Talent lost a very close election to liberal Claire McCaskill who is out campaigning with the most liberal senator.
Jim Talent was having a great time.
Governor Romney gained 9 points on Senator McCain in Missouri in the last week as Republicans start to realize that the race is coming down to either Romney of McCain.
