253 Terrorists Captured or Killed in Operation Phantom Phoenix

193 suspected extremists have been detained, 60 suspected extremists were killed in Operation Phantom Phoenix this past week – MNF-Iraq.

Operation Phantom Phoenix is producing great results in Iraq.
Voices of Iraq reported:

A joint Iraqi-U.S. force killed scores of gunmen belonging to al-Qaeda network and arrested 63 others during the early hours of Monday as the 2nd phase of Operation Raider Harvest started last week in several areas in Diala, the province’s police chief said.

“A Diala police force, backed by Multi-National Force (MNF) troops, started on Monday dawn the second phase of Operation Raider Harvest, killing scores of members of al-Qaeda Organization in Iraq in the district of Buhrez, (5 km) south of Baaquba, and al-Muradiya, in the heart of the city,” Maj. General Ghanim al-Qurayshi told Aswat al-Iraq – Voices of Iraq – (VOI).
