Things got out of hand yesterday in New Orleans after protesters violently confronted local police police.
BET reported on the violence:

Some 15 people were arrested on charges ranging from battery to disorderly conduct, police said, according to The Associated Press.

Four were taken to hospitals – including two women who had been stunned with Tasers – and five others were injured and treated on the scene, police told AP.

About six dozen protesters pressed against iron barricades that blocked them from the New Orleans Housing Authority building and were met by about a dozen mounted police and 40 more law enforcement officers on foot, AP reports.

Michelle Malkin reported that many of these protesters were not even from the area!

Bayou Buzz says the cars parked at the protest had plates from Ohio, Kentucky and Massachusetts.

Police let the protesters know that they were not welcome…

UPDATE: Val at Babalu adds this on the professional protesters in New Orleans:

You know, it just struck me that those protesters you posted about are following the Cuba model. Rabble rousers bused in from out of town to wreak havoc until they get their way. That’s Cuba’s modus operandi and theyre called “Rapid Response Brigades.” We should try to tag that name on them, because Im pretty sure some of their leaders and organizers have either dealt with castro regime sympathizers directly, or are being duped by same.

I know it may sound a little crazy and paranoid, but youd be surprised at the lengths these commie bastards go to to ram their agendas down our throats. I have been followed, threatened, and have had Babalu attacked a zillion times. Ive also woken up to find dead chickens and cracked coconuts with candles and other Santeria (cubas voodoo) crap on my front lawn.

In Cuba, they bus the protesters from out of town so no one locally can recognize them and they can thus wreak havoc without much ado. We’re workingon a site right now to expose as many of them as possible, including their names, addresses, etc…

What we saw in New Orleans yesterday was protest organizers taking a page out of fidel’s communism for dummies book.
