Arkin??? Nah… Kerry???Nah… Durbin???Nah…. Rush??? Yes!
Is anyone else getting a little bit tired of Democrats using the military and veterans as political footballs?.
Earlier this year VoteVets.org member Jon Soltz went up to Capital Hill to attack Republicans.
The Washington Post reported:
When Iraq war veteran Jon Soltz accused Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) of “aiding the enemy,” the Democratic senators gathered around him yesterday did not wince. Nor did Democrats object when Soltz, the chairman of a group called VoteVets.org, called President Bush and Vice President Cheney “draft dodgers.”
The Democrats not only were silent on the slander against President Bush (a veteran), but instead paraded Soltz and his band of antiwar brothers around the capital to bash the Commander in Chief (a veteran) and the war effort.
Likewise, as Bruce Kesler pointed out:
Not coincidentally, VoteVets.org had nothing to say about the outrageous characterization by William Arkin of Iraq veterans as “mercenaries” but did target three Republican Senators in a Superbowl ad to support a resolution to criticize the President’s policy in Iraq.
On Wednesday, Bill O’Reilly wondered why Democrats were silent when NBC new analysis William Arkin attacked the troops:
Senator Reid and the 40 other democrats who are smearing Rush Limbaugh had no problem with William Arkin’s calling the troops “mercenaries”???
Democrats also had no problem with John Kerry’s attack on the troops, or Barak Obama’s attack on the troops, or Dick Durbin’s attack on the troops, or…….
The Democrat’s partisan charades are obvious and shameful.
And, as O’Reilly says in his memo, “The fact that senators are buying into these smear tactics is troubling. This country is under siege by idealogues and a corrupt press.”
And, democrats need to be called on it!
