ADN Kronos reported:

Lebanese authorities have arrested two Syrians for allegedly spying on Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Lebanon, a Saudi newspaper reported Thursday. The two – Ibrahim Hasan Shabli, 22, and Ramadan Mundhar al Hamidi, 25 – were picked up in an apartment close to the residency of Ambassador Abdelalziz Khouja, the al-Watan daily said.

The two men are suspected of monitoring the ambassador’s movement with video and photographic equipment to plot an attack against him, al-Watan said.
