Aljazeera Crew Arrested After Broadcasting Near Refinery

Oak Leaf at Polipundit reports…
An Aljazeera TV crew was arrested today outside of Haifa after filming their report with an Israeli seaside oil refinery as backdrop:

Pan-Arab television station Al-Jazeera said on Sunday that Israeli police had detained its team in Haifa, shortly after the city was hit by a barrage of Hezbollah missiles that killed nine people.

The Doha-based channel said police had detained its Israel correspondent Elias Karram and his team, but did not provide details.

Al-Jazeera said earlier that Israeli authorities had ordered its team away from its seafront oil refinery after it broadcast live footage from the area shortly after the rockets attack.
