Hillary Forgets About Foster Suicide Note, Blasts Bush for Secrets
Hillary Clinton blasted the Bush Administration for its “pattern of secrecy” on Tuesday. Vice President Dick Cheney had shot a friend while hunting on Saturday night. The White House waited until Sunday to make the announcement:
Asked at a press conference for her reaction about how the White House has handled the incident, US Senator Hillary Clinton called the Bush administration’s failure to be more forthcoming “troubling.”
“A tendency of this administration — from the top all the way to the bottom — is to withhold information … to refuse to be forthcoming about information that is of significance and relevance to the jobs that all of you do, and the interests of the American people,” Clinton said.
“Putting it all together, going back years now, there’s a pattern and it’s a pattern that should be troubling,” she said at a press conference calling for a more robust federal response to the Hurricane Katrina disaster.
The former first lady continued: “The refusal of this administration to level with the American people on matters large and small is very disturbing, because it goes counter to the way our constitutional democracy … is supposed to work.”
But, Hillary Clinton must think that all of America forgot about HER OWN 30 HOUR DELAY in telling her own husband about the suicide note left behind by Vince Foster!
The same day Hillary Clinton was scheduled to speak at the Democratic National Convention, newly released documents suggest she was behind the 30-hour delay in releasing late White House counsel Vincent Foster’s suicide note to authorities.
How the White House handled Foster’s 1993 death, and the possibility that administration officials improperly removed documents from his office or impeded an official search of it, has been the subject of intense scrutiny by congressional Republicans and the media.
Republicans have been baffled over why the president wasn’t told about Foster’s note for 30 hours when the first lady knew about it immediately.
And, who could forget that it took two years for billing records that were under subpoena to show up mysteriously at the Clinton’s personal residence at the White House!
Mr. BURTON of Indiana: Mr. Speaker, Newsweek magazine reported this week that the FBI had discovered Mrs. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s fingerprints on billing records from the Rose law firm discovered at the White House in January. These billing records have been under subpoena and could not be found for over 2 years. Nobody knew where they were. And yet, just recently, they were found in President Clinton and Mrs. Clinton’s personal residence at the White House by Mrs. Clinton’s secretary.
This new look/old look aggressive and liberal Hillary is not playing well with Americans. Her polling numbers reached an all time low this month.
All Things Beautiful sees this as another blck eye for the media.
And, this goes with Alexandra’s thinking…
Wow! Pundit Guy has a report on Mr. Whittington’s condition that is lost in the Democratic Media frenzy.
The Opinion Journal has the suspicious timeline behind the Cheney shooting.
