T-Shirts for Terrorists
Stefania at Free Thoughts points out how one Danish Company is raising money for terrorist groups by selling T-shirts.
Here is the Fighters and Lovers company philosophy as it is posted on the website:
T-shirts don’t change the world. The world is already spinning around and we simply make the clothes for the creative people who make it happen. People with an attitude.
Fighters+Lovers is a private enterprise dedicated to the cause of freedom and hard-rocking streetwear. Communication is key to any change. 5 euros of the price you pay for our products at an authorized dealer’s are sent straight to Palestine or Colombia, where your money is paying for new equipment for radio stations and graphics workshops run by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) or the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC). This is our tribute to these freedom fighters.
Fighters+Lovers is a registered Scandinavian brand owned by VS.
PFLP (Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine)
Israel’s occupation of Palestinian land has forced millions of Palestinians to live as refugees, often under miserable conditions. The United Nations has recognized the Palestinians right to armed resistance against the illegal Israeli occupation.
PFLP doesn’t just fight the Israeli Army, the organization also runs a network of refugee camps, schools and health clinics throughout the Middle East.
FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia)
Left with no other choice, young people, unionists, teachers and even priests have taken up arms to join the biggest guerrilla army Latin America has ever seen: the FARC.
Increasing it’s power and number of troops day by day, FARC has liberated large chunks of Colombia from the terror of the regime’s death squads. Closely allied to Indigenous people and the Black minority, FARC’s tens of thousands of guerrilla fighters have wooed to bring down the corrupt rule of the drug lords led by President Alvaro Uribe.
FARC was established in 1964 as the armed wing of the Columbian Communist Party. The activities of FARC include bombings, murder, mortar attacks, kidnapping, extortion, and hijacking, as well as guerrilla and conventional military action against Colombian political, military, and economic targets. Cuba is known to supply the rebels with medical and political consultation. MORE HERE
PFLP was founded on December 11, 1967. The organization quickly specialized in showcase, large-scale terrorist operations beginning on July 23, 1968, with a hijacking to Algeria of an El Al flight on route from Rome to Tel Aviv. The PFLP, a secular Marxist Palestinian movement, is the second largest constituent organization in the PLO, after Fatah. There is ample evidence that Arafat fully supports PFLP and its involvement in terrorism. Despite the fact that the PFLP carried out dozens of terrorist attacks against Israel after the signing of the Oslo accords, killing and wounding Israelis, and that the PFLP was included on the official US list of terrorist groups. Both FARC and PFLP are listed by the US State Department as Designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations.
