A Visit to Dachau Concentration Camp

I am not even going to joke about comparison’s to Abu Ghraib.

Today Bill at PunditGuy had the moving experience of visiting Dachau Concentration Camp, the first concentration camp established by the Nazis. His post includes many pictures from the camp today.

Dachau is huge. So much bigger than I had imagined (see the map here). It could easily take a couple of hours to walk around and see everything. I focused on two places. The Crematorium and the maintenance building.

On a similar note,… the trial of Saddam Hussein, another mass murderer from the Twentieth Century, starts tomorrow. The Defense Team is already seeking a three month adjournment.
