This is the best news line of the day:
The two heads of state allied to oppose the Iraq war and became the symbols for anti-American feelings in Europe. Now, they both appear to be lame-duck leaders. (Press reports on a recent meeting between the two referred to them as “dead men talking.”)
And, this here was a pretty good piece of credentialed journalism as well!
