John Kerry decided to get out of that post election funk by taking to the skies. In the past week he has visited Iraq to “boost” morale by putting down the president. On Saturday he visited the Syrian president who is accused of doing too little to stop insurgents from infiltrating into Iraq to attack coalition forces. Wednesday he saw the Prime Minister of Egypt and related to the Al Azhar Grand Iman that the US had committed terrible mistakes in Iraq. Later Wednesday night Kerry complained that Arabs are frustrated by US policy in Iraq. And finally on Friday Kerry will be in France to meet with French President Jacques Chirac. There is still no official word on a parade scheduled for his arrival in Paris; where earlier in life he had secretly met with the Viet Cong leadership while Americans were dying on the battlefields of Vietnam.
