Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán blew off Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky as he visited the EU HQ in Brussels to beg for more money, arms and fighter jets. Orbán said that Hungary would not get involved in the Ukraine war “in the interest of the country and its people.”

As EU leaders posed for a photo op in the EU Parliament building, Viktor Orbán conspicuously failed to clap as Zelensky took his place before him.

Orbán, who was reelected in a landslide last April despite illegal US and EU funding for the opposition, is often termed a dictator by Western Fake News media.  Zelensky, who has banned all opposition parties and media in Ukraine, burned Russian-language books and even outlawed the Ukrainian Orthodox church, is hailed as a hero of “democracy” by the same sycophantic media.

Zelensky demanded NATO provide long-range weaponry and fighter jets to attack Russia, and also vowed to bring his corrupt mafia state into the EU. “Ukraine is going to be a member of the European Union,” Zelensky said. Ukraine is the most corrupt country in Europe, according to Transparency International. Zelensky was revealed to  be maintaining a network of offshore bank accounts by Soros-leaked Pandora Papers, and allegedly received $41 million in funds from Oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky’s Privatbank.

“The chief of Mr. Zelensky’s presidential staff, Andriy Yermak, said cryptically that the question of long-range weaponry and fighter jets had been resolved”, the BBC reported. “Mr. Zelensky said only that certain agreements had been made that were positive but not yet public.”

Zelensky ended his speech in the EU Parliament with the words, “Slava Ukrani!” (Glory to Ukraine), which was the salute of the fascist Organization of Ukranian Nationalists founded by Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera in the 1930s, equivalent to the Nazi “Heil Hitler”. The audience applauded.

Speaking on Kossuth Radio, Prime Minister Orbán stated that Hungary has “a clear position on the issue (of Ukraine) and has chosen to remain neutral in the interest of peace. In contrast, according to the prime minister, if left-wing parties were in power in Hungary today, we would already be involved in the war”, About Hungary reported.

Orbán acknowledged that there is “pressure from the West for Hungary to get involved in the conflict but emphasized that the Hungarian government will maintain its stance in the interest of the country and its people.” He also said that “the question of whether one country is at war with another is not a matter of declarations but of actions, such as sending weapons and financing the belligerents.”

He emphasized that the Hungarian government will not take actions that would put the country and its people in harm’s way. As the situation in Ukraine continues to escalate, with Germany and the United States sending heavy armor and potentially fighter jets to the country, “it is crucial for countries to carefully consider their stance and the potential consequences of involvement”, Orbán said.
