UPDATE: Popular GOP Rep. Greg Steube Suffered Fractured Pelvis, Punctured Lung, Torn Ligaments in Neck in Fall


Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) recuperates at home after dangerous fall.

Congressman Greg Steube (R-FL) was rushed to a hospital in Sarasota last Wednesday afternoon after a dangerous fall.

According to Steube’s office, the 44-year-old Congressman sustained several injuries.

“Congressman Steube was involved in an accident on his property late this afternoon and has sustained several injuries. We will provide additional updates when possible. Please pray for the Congressman and his family,” Steube’s office said.

Rep. Greg Steube easily won reelection in November with 63.85% of the vote to 35.51% for his Democrat challenger. Rep. Steube is also a staunch supporter of President Trump.

CBS News reported on Friday that Rep. Steube was moved out of ICU after a 25-foot fall from his roof.

Steube’s office did not disclose the types of injuries he sustained or the doctors’ prognosis on his recovery.

On Monday Rep. Steube posted a tweet thanking his friends, his family, and his support pups.

Rep. Steube tweeted that he suffered a fractured pelvis, a punctured lung, and several torn ligaments in his neck.

He is pictured at home recuperating with his support dogs.

Rep. Steube will be working from home while he recovers.
