Maren Morris Apologizes on ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ For How Country Fans and Artists Have Treated LGBTQ Community

Woke singer Marin Morris apologized on RuPaul’s Drag Race for how the country music world has treated the LGBTQ community.

Morris appeared teary-eyed as she addressed the drag queens on the show.

“Coming from country music and its relationship with LGBTQ+ members, I just want to say I’m sorry,” said Morris. “And I love you guys for making me feel like a brave voice in country music. So I just thank you guys so much for inspiring me.”

“I’m gonna cry,” she added, dramatically.

Morris also tweeted about her obsession with the show.

“I’ve done some cool shit,” Morris tweeted. “#DragRace is rivaling it all. Getting my jacket framed next to my Grammy. It is DONE.”

Morris has been outspoken about her liberal activism and has previously condemned Brittany Aldeen, the wife of singer Jason Aldean, for opposing transgender surgeries and hormone treatments for children.
