According to ABC News, law enforcement knew who they were looking for and were able to track down Kohberger.

“A SWAT team entered the location Kohberger was staying in and took him into custody, sources say.” ABC News reported.

According to reports, Kohberger is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.

Moscow police are providing more updates about the break in the case in a press conference.

Update: Kohberger was charged with 4 counts of murder and one count of felony burglary, according to the Latah County prosecutor.

Khoberger will appear in court in Pennsylvania next week.

The Latah County prosecutor said he cannot disclose any information about the case until Khoberger appears in a court in Idaho.

If Khoberger doesn’t voluntarily agree to be extradited to Idaho, the Idaho governor’s office will have to intervene to request extradition.

The Latah County prosecutor cautioned that the extradition process could take some time and asked the public to be patient as the legal process plays out.

The police chief refused to answer when asked how long Bryan Kohberger was on law enforcement’s radar and how many tips came in specifically about Khoberger.

A murder weapon still has not been located, however the police chief said they have ‘located an Elantra’ when asked about the white Hyundai Elantra wanted by police.
