WATCH: “I Wasn’t Anywhere Near The Capitol On January 6” – Kari Lake Smacks Fake News CBS Hack When Asked About Vicious Attack Ad Blaming Her For The Death Of A Capitol Police Officer Who Died AFTER J6

A CBS hack reporter tried to corner Trump-Endorsed Arizona Gubernatorial Nominee Kari Lake yesterday by asking her about a new attack ad featuring the mother of former capitol police officer Brian Sicknick.

Officer Brian Sicknick died following the riot at the US Capitol on January 6th from a stroke.

The Gateway Pundit reported that the demonic left brought out Brian Sicknick’s mother to lie about Kari Lake and blame her for his death.

Kari Lake was a news reporter at the time in Arizona.

ABSOLUTE GHOULS: Democrats Drag Out Mother of Brian Sicknick to Lie About Kari Lake in Vicious Ad Blaming Kari for His Death – Back When She Was a Reporter!

The original reports by the fake news mainstream media were that Officer Sicknick was beaten over the head with a fire extinguisher by Trump supporters.

But that false narrative has since been debunked. Even far-left CNN admits it’s more likely he died from the effects of chemicals sprayed into the crowd that day.

Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick suffered two strokes and died of natural causes on January 7, the District Chief medical examiner ruled.

The Gateway Pundit was first to report that Officer Sicknick may have died from a stroke.

Kari Lake was not a blip on the political calendar when Brian Sicknick died from a stroke on January 7th.

However, this is an extremely touchy subject, especially for a statewide candidate who is the face of the MAGA Movement across the country. The Fake News Media will do anything to stop Kari Lake and paint her as an insensitive extremist.

Lake gracefully took this question by CBS News from the perspective of a mother, saying, “I would never try to disparage or hurt her because I know when a mother has pain like that, there’s no way to heal that.”

She crushed this fake news narrative by relating to Cindy Sicknick as a mother and offering her sincerest condolences for the loss of her son.

Lake also spoke on the children who have lost their lives to the fentanyl pouring across the southern border of Arizona and the parents she has spoken to while campaigning for Governor.

Anybody who knows Kari Lake knows that she has an enormous heart, and she clearly does not feel animosity toward Cindy for choosing to blame her for this tragic incident.

However, it’s not Kari Lake’s fault. As Lake stated, she wasn’t anywhere near the Capitol on January 6th.

Lake was still reporting the news in Phoenix, Arizona, until March 2nd, 2021, when she announced her resignation from Fox 10 after 22 years.

CBS Reporter: I don’t know if you’ve seen this ad attacking you…

Lake: Which one, Chris?

CBS Reporter: The mother of Brian Sicknick, the Capitol police officer that died the day after January 6. She, in an attack ad, is saying that people like you specifically are responsible for her son’s death. I’m curious what you think when you hear that.

Lake: Cindy, I just want to say to Cindy Sicknick, I am so sorry about the death of your son. It is tragic. I’m a mother myself, and that is, it breaks my heart. That is a wound when you lose a child, no matter how old they are, that never heals. And so, I don’t want to disparage her. She doesn’t know me. I wasn’t anywhere near the Capitol on January 6. And I understand that her son died, I think, the following day of a stroke or natural causes. And I feel for her, and I see the pain in her eyes. And I would never try to disparage or hurt her because I know when a mother has pain like that, there’s no way to heal that. And that’s why I feel for these moms and dads who hit me up on the campaign trail, and they grab me. And you can spot them from across the room, there is a loss in their lives that can never be replaced, and we’re losing 1000s of young people. When they tell me they lost a son to fentanyl, when they lost a daughter to fentanyl poisoning, this is why we are pushing so hard to secure that border and stop fentanyl from pouring across. I’m used to attack ads. I’ve had probably more money spent against me than any candidate in Arizona in attack ads, but the people know me here. They’re not believing what they’re seeing in the attack ads. I’ve been in their homes for 27 years. And additionally, besides attack ads, I’ve had 100% negative, lying coverage by the fake news of me and my campaigning and our people. And so we’ve withstood that, and we will win and we’re going to do great things for Arizona, despite what you guys say.
