Chuck Schumer: Midterms a “Vindication” for Democrats’ Agenda After Clinching Senate Majority

On Saturday, after leading by tens of thousands of votes on election day, Adam Laxalt lost his US Senate race after four days of Democrat counting and ballot room blackouts.

Laxalt was ahead in the race until Saturday afternoon when Democrat Catherine Cortez Masto took the lead.

The race was immediately called.

Once again, a popular Republican had his race stolen after days of backroom ballot counting.

And the GOP slept.

On Saturday night Chuck Schumer bragged following the news that the Democrats will retain control of the US Senate.

Schumer told reporters the midterm elections were a “vindication” for the Democrats’ agenda to destroy America.

The Hill reported:

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said that the midterm elections are a “vindication” for Democrats and their agenda after the party clinched holding onto their Senate majority for the next two years.

Schumer said at a press conference on Saturday that “terrific” Democratic candidates, the party’s agenda and accomplishments and the American people’s rejection of “antidemocratic extremist MAGA Republicans” led to the party holding onto its majority.

Democrats were projected to maintain their majority in the Senate after Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) was projected as the winner in her reelection bid against former Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt (R).

“This election is a victory, a victory and a vindication for Democrats, our agenda and for the American people,” Schumer said.

Welcome to your communist future.
