MUST SEE: Buccaneers Head Coach Todd Bowles Asked About His Blackness by Woke Liberal Reporters – Delivers Humiliating Response

Todd Bowles, head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, spoke to the press about the Bucs upcoming game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Bowles has an extensive football career by any measure. He was signed by the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent player in 1986 and played in the league for seven years, including Washington’s Super Bowl XXII winning team.

His coaching career spans both college and the NFL and includes:

  • 1997 Morehouse College- Defensive coordinator & secondary coach
  • 1998-1999 Grambling State- Defensive coordinator & secondary coach
  • 2000 New York Jets-Secondary coach
  • 2001-2003 Cleveland Browns-Secondary–nickel package coach
  • 2004 Cleveland Browns-Secondary coach
  • 2005–2007 Dallas Cowboys-Secondary coach
  • 2008-2011 Miami Dolphins-Assistant head coach & secondary coach
  • 2011 Miami Dolphins- Interim head coach & secondary coach
  • 2012 Philadelphia Eagles-Secondary coach
  • 2012 Philadelphia Eagles-Interim defensive coordinator & secondary coach
  • 2013-2014 Arizona Cardinals-Defensive coordinator
  • 2015-2018 New York Jets-Head Coach
  • 2019-2021 Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Defensive coordinator
  • 2022 Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Head Coach

But woke reporters wanted to talk about race.

Bowles was asked about his relationship with Steelers coach Tomlin and being one of four Black head coaches in the NFL, “You and Mike Tomlin are two of the few Black head coaches in the league. I wonder what your relationship is like with him.”

Bowles responded to the woke question perfectly. “I have a very good relationship with Tomlin. We don’t look at what color we are when we coach against each other. We just know each other. I have a lot of very good white friends that coach in this league as well. I don’t think it’s a big deal as far as us coaching against each other. I think it’s normal.”

Bowles added, “We coach ball.  We don’t look at color.”

Helpful white ESPN reporter Jenna Laine race-splained to Bowles about the significance of his race saying, “But you also understand that representation matters too, right? And that when aspiring coaches or even football players they see you guys, you know they see someone who looks like them, that grew up like them, that has to mean something.”

The exasperation on Bowles face during the lecture on race said everything and Bowles’ response was fire. “Well, when you say ‘see you guys’ and look like them and grew up like them, means that we are oddballs to begin with. And I think the minute you guys stop making a big deal about it, everybody else will.”

Ouch.

Clay Travis nailed it on Twitter.

Others weighed in on Twitter praising the coach for his responses.

The woke-fest appears in the below press conference at the 7:36 mark.

Go Bucs!
