Deep State Rat Bill Barr: The Justice Department Is ‘Very Close’ To Mounting Evidence To Indict Trump

Former Attorney General Bill Bar claims the Department of Justice is “getting very close” to gathering enough evidence to indict former President Donald Trump for preserving classified documents at his Florida home.

Prosecutors must decide whether they can “make a technical case” against Trump and must continue to mount sufficient evidence to justify an indictment, Bar told Fox News on Wednesday.

“As I’ve said all along, there are two questions,” the ex-AG said. “Will the government be able to make out a technical case? Will they have evidence by which they could indict somebody on, including him?

“That’s the first question, and I think they’re getting very close to that point, frankly.”

It’s unclear whether DOJ will risk the political liability that would ensue from indicting a former president, Barr continued.

“At the end of the day,” he said, “there is another question. Do you indict a former president? What will that do to the country? What kind of precedent will it set? Will the people really understand that this is not failing to return a library book? That this was serious?

“And so, you have to worry about those things, and I hope that those kinds of factors will incline the administration not to indict him because I don’t want to see him indicted as a former president.”

Attorney General Merrick Garland may ultimately indict Trump to depict a perception of fairness, Barr argued.

” I also think they will be under a lot of pressure to indict him because look, if anyone else would’ve gotten indicted, why not indict him?” he asked.

Barr also trashed Trump on Fox News last week while defending the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago.

“People say this was unprecedented, well it’s also unprecedented for a president to take all this classified information and put them in a county club,” Barr said.

Trump maintains he had a “standing order” to declassify all documents before leaving the White House and he stored them in Secret Service guarded office. Yet, Barr insists Trump never declassified the documents.

“If in fact he sort of stood over scores of boxes, not really knowing what was in them, and said, ‘I hereby declassify everything in here,’ that would be such an abuse.”

As AG, Barr did nothing to pursue charges against Hillary Clinton who wiped and destroyed her server, failed to prosecute a single Democrat operative for conspiring the Trump, Russia collusion witchhunt, turned a blind eye to the Biden crime family after the FBI obtained Hunter’s laptop, never broke up monopolistic big tech as promised and gave the stolen 2020 election the push to be certified.
