They quit counting when Kari Lake pulled ahead.
The Maricopa County elections department tweeted this out at 2:42 AM on Wednesday morning.
They all went home with 20% of the vote left to count.

It’s now been over 12 16 hours since they shut down their counting in Maricopa County.
2 hours ago they posted a new video of elections workers back to counting ballots in Maricopa County.
Maricopa County announced at 10 PM Eastern that 715,949 ballots had been counted.
The county then sends you to the Maricopa County Elections website which has not been updated in over 20 hours.
Unofficial results are updated and 715,949 ballots have been counted. We still have to count the rest of the verified early ballots dropped off on Election Day, verified provisional ballots, & write-in candidates.
