WATCH: Tacky Democrat Rep. Linda Sanchez Flips Off Republicans During 2022 Congressional Baseball Game for Charity

Democrat Rep. Linda Sanchez put her poor sportsmanship on full display during the 2022 Congressional Baseball Game.

Thursday evening’s game was the 87th installment of the annual event, which is held to raise funds for charity.

This year, the game was raising money for the Boys and Girls Club of DC.

During the sixth inning, with the Democrats trailing by five runs, Rep. Sanchez was filmed walking past the Republican dugout and flipping off her colleagues.

The Republicans ended up winning the game, 10-0.

After the clip of her actions began to go viral, many on social media called for her to be banned from participating in future games.

“California Democrat Rep. Linda Sanchez gave the Republican dug out the finger right before her team got BODIED 10-0 by the GOP in the congressional baseball game. What a nasty, disgusting slob. Perfect representation of the modern Left,” Turning Point USA’s Benny Johnson tweeted.

Naturally, many couldn’t help making jokes about how the stunning defeat was nothing compared to what the Democrats will likely face in November’s midterm election — including the official account of the GOP.

Republicans are destroying the Democrats tonight at the Congressional Baseball game. Currently 9-0. However democrats are expecting countless runs overnight after the game is over and are already looking forward to their win,” John Curtis joked.

During the 2017 game a crazed liberal walked onto the field and began shooting at Republican lawmakers. Rep. Steve Scalise and four others were injured in the attack.

“Scalise, who was shot in the hip, suffered from critical wounds. He underwent several surgeries, and faced a lengthy recovery, before returning to congress on September 28 to a standing ovation. The other victims included Capitol Police Special Agent Crystal Griner, lobbyists Matt Mika and Zack Barth and a staffer for Rep. Roger Williams of Texas,” according to History.com.

Ahead of this year’s game, Scalise tweeted, “5 years ago my colleagues & I were attacked playing baseball—because we’re Republicans. We didn’t let it stop us then & nothing will stop us now. It’s been a long journey, but tonight we play the Congressional Baseball Game—5 years stronger.”
