MORE MEDIA LIES EXPOSED: Man Falsely Accused of Hurling Fire Extinguisher at Officer Sicknick Pleads Guilty to Two Lesser Misdemeanors of Entering Capitol

Another lie by the fake news media comes to a quiet death.

Two men were arrested in March 2021 for “assault” on DC Police Officer Brian D. Sicknick, who died after the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.  Sicknick died from a stroke following the riots.

Julian Elie Khater, 32, of Pennsylvania, and George Pierre Tanios, 39 of Morgantown, were accused of assault.

** Here is the FBI affidavit on Khater and Tanios who were sprayed by officers before returning bear spray in their direction.

According to the far left Washington Post:

“Khater and Tanios are charged with nine counts including assaulting Sicknick, a U.S. Capitol Police officer identified as C. Edwards and a D.C. police officer identified as B. Chapman with a deadly weapon. They are also charged with civil disorder and obstruction of a Congressional proceeding. The charges are punishable by up to 20 years in prison.”

This was more fake news from The Washington Post.

Khater and Tanios were identified after authorities received information from tipsters responding to wanted images taken from surveillance video and body-cam footage released by the FBI.

Officer Brian Sicknick died following the riot at the US Capitol on January 6th.  The original reports by the fake news mainstream media were that Officer Sicknick was beaten over the head with a fire extinguisher.  But that false narrative has since been debunked. Even far-left CNN admits it’s more likely he died from the effects of chemicals sprayed into the crowd that day.

The media initially ran with the story that Officer Sicknick was beaten over the head with a fire extinguisher by Trump supporters.

It was only later that the facts came out.

Propublica reported that Sicknick told his brother he was merely pepper-sprayed. And according to Officer Sicknick’s family, he suffered from a blood clot and stroke and was on a ventilator, according to Western Journal.

Officer Brian Sicknick died on January 7th, the day after the Capitol protests and immediately the media reported he died from injuries caused by blunt force to the head on January 6th.  But it is unlikely this occurred since, after a month of investigations, there was no evidence this happened.

The Gateway Pundit was first to report on January 10th that Sicknick reportedly died from something other than getting hit on the head by a fire extinguisher:

UPDATE: DC Officer Sicknick’s Death was Driven by Medical Condition – Reports of Fire Extinguisher Attack Have Not Been Confirmed

On Wednesday US political prisoner George Tanios, who was horribly and incessantly smeared in the fake news mainstream media for months pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors.

The fake news media still lies about this poor man.

Reuters reported:

George Tanios, one of two men who had been accused of assaulting police officers during the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol including now-deceased Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to lesser misdemeanor charges.

Tanios, 40, appeared for a virtual hearing in U.S. District Court along with co-defendant Julian Khater. Tanios pleaded guilty to entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds and to disorderly and disruptive conduct on restricted grounds.

He is due to be sentenced on Dec. 6. U.S. District Judge Thomas Hogan said that Tanios could face up to a year in prison on each count but that under U.S. sentencing guidelines, he faces a term of between zero and six months in prison.

Prosecutors said on Wednesday they also offered a deal to Khater in which he would have to agree to plead guilty to two felony counts of assaulting federal law enforcement. The plea offer expires on Aug. 17. Khater’s attorney said they need more time to review it before making a decision.

If Khater takes the plea deal, he could face up to 6-1/2 to 8 years in prison under U.S. sentencing guidelines.

Another victim of media malpractice.
