WATCH: Marjorie Taylor Green Tells British Reporter To ‘Go Back To Your Country’ In Response To Gun Reform Laws

On Wednesday, Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene told a British journalist to “go back” to her country after being questioned about her opposition to gun reforms, standing up for the Second Amendment rights of Americans.

During a press event, Greene addressed the recently advanced gun reform measures being pushed through the Senate. Greene, an outspoken advocate of Second Amendment rights, criticized members of the GOP who pandered to the Democratic priority of removing constitutional rights from Americans. She expressed concern over the support of “red flag” laws that usurp due process and remove guns from private citizens if they are assumed a risk.

At a press conference, Greene said: “It’s our job to defend the Second Amendment.”

The British journalist, who has not been identified, said in response: “We don’t have guns in the UK, that is true, but we don’t have mass shootings either. And our children aren’t scared to go to school.”

“You have mass stabbings, lady,” Greene responded. “You have all kinds of murder, and you’ve got laws against that.”

“Nothing like the same rates here,” said the reporter.

“Well, you can go back to your country and worry about your no guns,” Greene fired back. “We like ours here.”

Ms. Greene later posted a video of the exchange on Twitter.

“When British press wants to argue about our God-given American gun rights, my answer is: ‘go back to your own country,'” she said on Twitter.

Earlier this month, in response to Canada’s proposed gun legislation, Greene had said that without guns in the hands of its citizens, Canada would be powerless to stop Russian invaders.

“Trudeau foolishly completely ignores how taking guns away from his people makes his country weak and vulnerable to being invaded and easily taken over by another stronger country,” Greene said on Twitter. “Like, perhaps Russia, who is very angry at America right now.”

Greene has consistently been a voice of support for Second Amendment rights for Americans.
