WATCH: Liz Cheney Blatantly Omits Portion Of President Trump’s Tweet To Manipulate Facts And Sway Public Opinions

During Thursday’s televised January 6 hearings, many selected communications and videos were shared by the House Special Committee in an attempt to justify their point of view, often edited and manipulated to produce the desired outcome.

One such instance, captured during the broadcast, was Rep. Liz Cheney‘s choice to utilize a tweet from former President Donald Trump.

During her minutes-long monolog on the events of January 6, Cheney criticized Trump for his words, or what she called a lack of words, related to the riots that occurred.

Cheney said that Trump “did not condemn the attack, instead he justified it.”

She read an excerpt from one of Trump’s posts, “These are the things and events that happen when a sacred landslide election victory is so unceremoniously & viciously stripped away from great patriots who have been badly & unfairly treated for so long.”

However, she neglected to complete the reading of the post, which says clearly, “Go home with love & in peace.”

She repeatedly claimed Trump called for violence and the disruption of peace on January 6, when his own words, clearly marked with a January 6, 2020, date, state the opposite.

The blatant omission of facts, even when displayed on an enormous screen behind the Congresswoman, reveals the depth of the committee’s agenda to defame and disable the impact of former President Trump.
