“I Have Risen from Working in the Cotton Fields to Representing the Community I love in US Congress” – Rep. Mayra Flores Delivers Her First Speech to Congress (VIDEO)

Rep. Mayra Flores (R-TX) delivered her first remarks in the US Congress today.

Mayra is the first Republican to represent her district in over 100 years!

Rep. Flores will represent Brownsville, Harlingen, and Kingsville, communities ravaged by Joe Biden’s devastating open border policies.

The number of migrants crossing the U.S.-Mexico border in May broke all Department of Homeland Security (DHS) records, a record last set in March of 2000.

According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) stats announced last week, border authorities encountered 239,416 migrants during the month at the nation’s southern border.

May’s encounters surpassed April’s record of 234,088 migrants encountered. The Biden administration continues to break all migration records since DHS began recording southwest border encounters.

Democrats purposely opened the US border following Joe Biden’s inauguration.  Millions of illegal aliens have already flooded across the US southern border.  This is a catastrophe.

Mayra Flores shocked the Democrat Party by winning her run-off election last week in a landslide.

On Wednesday Rep. Flores flew to Washington DC and was sworn in to Congress.

For the record, Mayra’s husband is a US Border agent.

Her first speech before Congress was truly amazing.

Rep. Mayra Flores: “I have risen from working in the cotton fields to representing the community I love in US Congress.”
