SICK: Disney Announces They’ll Pay For Employees’ Abortion-Related Travel Costs

Disney just stooped to another low.

Walt Disney Company sent a memo to employees saying they would pay for the travel costs of employees seeking abortions.

The New York Post reported:

The Walt Disney Co. told employees it will cover travel expenses related to out-of-state abortions — wading into a politically fraught issue amid its ongoing battle with Republican-dominated Florida over the company’s opposition to the “Don’t Say Gay” law.

“Our company remains committed to removing barriers and providing comprehensive access to quality and affordable care for all of our employees, cast members and their families, including family planning and reproductive care, no matter where they live,” Disney executives said in a memo, which was reported by CNBC.

The memo continued: “In fact, we have processes in place so that an employee who may be unable to access care in one location has affordable coverage for receiving similar levels of care in another location.”

Here is a copy of the memo:

We recognize the impact that today’s Supreme Court ruling could have on many Americans and understand that some of you may have concerns about what that might mean for you and your families, as medical and family planning decisions are deeply personal.

Please know that our company remains committed to removing barriers and providing comprehensive access to quality and affordable care for all of our employees, cast members and their families, including family planning and reproductive care, no matter where they live. In fact, we have processes in place so that an employee who may be unable to access care in one location has affordable coverage for receiving similar levels of care in another location. This travel benefit covers medical situations related to cancer treatments, transplants, rare disease treatment and family planning (including pregnancy-related decisions).

Lastly, we would like to remind you of the range of medical coverage options you have as an eligible employee of The Walt Disney Company, as well as the options for your covered dependents. As medical coverage needs are unique to each of us, we encourage you to contact your medical carrier should you have specific questions about your coverage. You can also learn more about the company’s benefit offerings at Benefits.Disney.com, consult the Contacts | Disney Benefits Portal (fidelity.com) or reach out to your HR representative.

Disney will continue to prioritize the health, safety and well-being of our team members and their families.

Political Editor for Townhall Guy Benson pointed out that the move is nothing more than a virtue signal.

By doing this they don’t have to help their employees in other ways.

And:

Disney’s stock has taken a massive hit since going woke. Their stock price is down 33% in just the last three months,

Yahoo Finance reported:

That downside risk was realized by The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) shareholders over the last year, as the share price declined 47%. That falls noticeably short of the market decline of around 20%. Notably, shareholders had a tough run over the longer term, too, with a drop of 33% in the last three years. The falls have accelerated recently, with the share price down 33% in the last three months. But this could be related to the weak market, which is down 18% in the same period.

Will this tank their stock even more?
