Is CNN’s resident potato on the chopping block too?
Brian Stelter’s days are numbered at CNN, according to former breaking news editor for the Washington Examiner
“SOURCE: Stelter is “down to weeks if not days” left at CNN. They go on “He is everything that reminds the new owners of the Zucker era they desperately want to get past”” Jon Nicosia reported on Wednesday evening.
Stelter is reportedly causing problems and “stirring discontent within the ranks.”
They continue: "Management is confident Stelter is the one sharing the internal pushback to fellow media reporters while simultaneously stirring discontent within the ranks"

CNN’s worldwide president Jeff Zucker resigned in February and insiders have been calling for Stelter to be fired since.
A CNN insider previously told The Daily Mail that “Brian Stelter should start looking for another job.”
CNN+ recently collapsed – the $100 million venture was canceled less than a month after its launch so it is unclear where Stelter would go.
Stelter is known for complaining about Trump, bashing Fox News and trashing Gateway Pundit so he really doesn’t bring much to the table.
In April Brian Stelter actually said of CNN+’s collapse: “It’s too early to know if this product, if this service was a success or a failure.”
Stelter tried to rationalize the implosion of CNN+ and scolded the “haters.”
