The teacher was giving his students a balanced perspective on the Russia-Ukraine conflict. This was not acceptable to the state operatives monitoring speech.
The media says teacher John Stanton spread Russian propaganda.

The teacher told the students to seek information from both the West and the East before forming opinions.
So they silenced him.
