“This is the Self-Hypnosis of Those Who are Weak” – President Zelensky Slams NATO’s Decision Over Refusal to Close Ukrainian Air Space

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg announced on Friday the alliance of Western nations will not fight for Ukraine. NATO will not send in ground troops and will not close the Ukrainian air space.

Whatever promises were made to Zelensky and the Ukrainians in the past were just tossed out a window.

“We are not part of this conflict,” NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said during the news conference.

“We have a responsibility as NATO allies to prevent this war from escalating beyond Ukraine because that would be even more dangerous, more devastating and would cause even more human suffering,” he continued.

On Friday night, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky criticized and called NATO “weak” during his address at an undisclosed location after his demand to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine was rejected by the alliance.

Zelensky made a televised speech on his official Facebook page with the caption, “We continue to fight. We will protect our state. We will liberate our land. Thanks to our heroes.”

“We believe that NATO countries have created a narrative that closing the skies over Ukraine would provoke Russia’s direct aggression against NATO,” Zelensky said in a televised speech.

“This is the self-hypnosis of those who are weak, underconfident internally, although they may have weapons many times more powerful than ours,” he asserted.

All the people who will die from this day will also die because of you, because of your weakness, because of your disunity,” Zelensky continued.

“Is this the NATO we wanted? Is this the alliance you were building?” he added.

“By refusing to establish a no-fly zone, today NATO leaders gave the ‘green light’ for further bombing of Ukrainian cities and villages,”  he said.

“I do not know who you can protect and whether you can protect NATO countries. You will not be able to buy us off with liters of fuel for liters of our blood,” Zelensky argued.
