Stasi Tactics: Canadian Police Show Up to Woman’s Home and Harass Her Over Pro-Convoy Facebook Posts – Admit They are “Monitoring” Citizens’ Online Activity – (VIDEO)

Canada is quickly becoming a police state in the wake of the pandemic and trucker convoy.

Thanks to the brave men and women that are standing for freedom, Trudeau’s mask has been ripped off, which has sent the elites spiraling into full panic mode. As they continue ramping up the crackdown on protesters themselves, Canada’s tyrants have even started to send law enforcement officers to people’s homes to harass and intimidate them over simply supporting the protests.

It’s all falling apart, and they know it.

On Thursday, a police officer from the Ontario Provincial Police showed up at a woman’s home to chastise her about the rules of “peaceful protests,” after law enforcement officials had found Facebook posts showing her support for the Trucker convoy.

After handing the woman a business card and a dystopian brochure detailing what is permitted as “peaceful protesting,” the officer, who identified herself as Erica Ingraham, admitted that police have been monitoring individuals’ online activity regarding the massive grassroots protest that has shut down several cities and border crossings across the country.

Video of the unbelievable visit shows the officer arriving to the woman’s home, where she is immediately asked to identify herself with her name and badge number. The officer responds by handing over “some information about peaceful protests” along with her business card.

Clarifying why the officer is harassing her at her private residence, the woman asks: “So you saw something on my Facebook?”

At first, the officer denies they are snooping her Facebook page, claiming instead they found the post that warranted a visit from law enforcement officials within a “Facebook group” – as if that makes any difference.

Pressing further, the resident asks: “and [you] decided to come to my personal residence to give me information about peaceful protests?”

“Yes,” the officer replies.

Still not satisfied with the responses, the resident continues her line of questioning.

“Are you guys now monitoring people’s Facebook pages or Facebook groups [as] to who comments, as to what their status updates are, or what they’re doing within the group?”

Clearly, the officer was poorly coached for this kind of direct questioning and is visibly lost at this point. The officer slightly backtracks, claiming that law enforcement officials are simply “monitoring the protests,” before attempting to make a quick exit.

So, there’s a protest coming up. I’m simply providing you with information about a peaceful protest, and now I’m leaving. That is all.”

Before the officer runs off, the resident presses one more time to get a straight answer, asking “so the OPP are watching what people are doing on Facebook in different groups, whether or not they’re commenting, participating, liking, and you guys are now doing service calls to give people information about peaceful protests?”

“Yeah,” the officer says, before justifying the visit as “just a proactive measure to make sure you understand your rights about peaceful protesting.”

Not buying it for a second, the resident finishes the conversation by shaming the officer for wasting taxpayer dollars on these Stasi intimidation tactics, concluding that it’s “nice to know that we’re being watched.”
