Ray Epps finally testified in front of the sham Jan 6th committee on Friday, according to reports.
The interview was transcribed — but was done behind closed doors.
On his show Tucker Carlson Tonight, Tucker Carlson called out the sham Jan 6th committee — saying, “they are lying about Ray Epps.”
He pointed out it was “pretty strange” the transcript of the interview is not public.
WATCH (partial transcript below):
“We are told there is an insurrection on January 6th…That is obviously a lie but if anybody if anyone was shown to be insurrecting that day it was a mysterious man called Ray Epps. He appears to be in his late 60s…was on camera a number of times encouraging people to breach the Captiol. So, if you were trying to get to the bottom of the insurrection you would definitely want to do something about Ray Epps. He has not been indicted, he is not facing charges. Now, supposedly the January 6th committee spoke to Ray Epps today. It wasn’t public…we aren’t getting a transcript of that interview for some reason. But that is pretty strange. Because several days ago Adam Kinzinger told us that the committee had already spoken to Ray Epps and in fact he held Ray Epps as a hero and thanked him for his cooperation. What is going on here? They are lying about Ray Epps there is no question about that. What exactly are they hiding?”
The DOJ is refusing to answer whether or not Ray Epps was a federal agent.
Despite clear video showing he was attempting to incite people to break into the US Capitol, Ray Epps quietly was removed from the FBI’s Capitol Attack Most Wanted List.
Another man’s removal from the list July 1 fueled speculation from a member of the House Judiciary Committee that Ray Epps might have incited people to storm the building at the behest of the FBI, the Examiner said.
Epps was filmed in the hours leading up to the attack urging supporters of former President Donald Trump to enter the Capitol to stop the certification of the 2020 Electoral College results. The Arizonan has not been arrested or charged for his actions.
What are they hiding?
