Even left-wingers can’t defend former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio.
During their annual New Year’s Eve event, Andy Cohen blasted Bill de Blasio saying “the only thing Republicans and Democrats can agree on is what a horrible mayor he has been.”

Andy Cohen, appearing on CNN Friday night for his annual New Year’s Eve festivities, spoke for many New Yorkers in a rant against outgoing Mayor Bill de Blasio.
Cohen, who appeared to be losing his voice toward the end of the evening and took shots on air with Cooper, ranted that de Blasio’s second term was the city’s ‘crappiest’ ever.
‘Watching Mayor de Blasio do his victory lap dance after four years of the crappiest term as the mayor of New York… the only thing Republicans and Democrats can agree on is what a horrible mayor he has been so… sayonara sucker!’
Cohen also took umbrage with de Blasio’s dancing with First Lady Chirlane McCray after the ball dropped in Times Square, comparing it to how he felt after taking a shot.
‘I just don’t need to see that at the beginning of 2021. Do something with this city! Honestly, get it together!’
De Blasio leaves behind a devastated New York City.
The Big Apple is on pace to hit nearly 500 murders before the close of 2021 — a bleak milestone not seen in a decade.
As of Sunday — and with five days left on the year — the NYPD has recorded 479 slayings, driven by a startling surge in gun violence across the city, data shows.
The Big Apple hasn’t recorded more than 500 murders since 2011 when there were 515 on the books, according to the data.
In 2012, homicides dropped to 419. In the following years, they plummeted into the 300s each year, except for 2017 when the city recorded 292 murders.
