MSNBC obtained an audio recording of investigators with Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich’s office questioning former Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes.
TGP reported that Roger Geisler, a special agent with Brnovich’s major-fraud unit, interrogated Fontes but according to AZ Central, Fontes did not suggest he was the target of a criminal probe.
BREAKING: Former Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes Interrogated In 2020 Election Investigation
It is unknown how the audio recording was obtained but nobody else seems to have it.
As was done with the Arizona audit's final report, MSNBC is creating a spin saying "tapes reveal Arizona officials know the investigation into the 2020 election was a sham.".
Could this be another fake news leak to get ahead of the real narrative?
Fontes: I mean, this is your boss that desperate in his primary that he's going to push this bullsh*t narrative about a stolen election?
Investigator: Well, nobody's talking about a stolen election at all.
Fontes: But then why are you, I mean, that's what this is about. At the end of the day, this is a false narrative. It's been proven false over and over again. We know it's not real. I have a feeling that you guys know it's not real. And I kind of feel bad and you guys are even here. Because I like I get the feeling from body language and stuff that you guys know this is bullsh*t, and I'm really sorry that you have to do it, but I'm happy to answer it. You have to think that this
Investigator: Well, you have to think that this way, like the like when I worked at the police department, and somebody comes in and makes a complaint. We investigate.
Fontes: Have you had a chance to look at the early voting plan, the election day plan, and all that stuff from the County Recorder's office and the election department?
Investigator: I'm going to be perfectly honest with you about how this is working. I volunteered for some reason I'll never understand to be the election integrity investigator at the AG's office. It's a new thing. It's a new thing. We didn't have it before.
Investigator: So obviously, you know about the audit.
Fontes: That was almost air quotes.
Investigator: It was. So the audit came out, Cyber Ninjas conducted the audit. There's been a lot of controversy over just different issues. And so all were trying to do is get an idea. Bill and I, We've never worked election stuff and don't really know a lot of the processes.

Investigator: That's just the paper ballots, Correct?
Fontes: Well, that's the only kind there are.
Investigator: I mean, people voting machines later on.
Fontes: I don't know what you mean by that.
Investigator: If I walk into a ballot place, did they do electronic voting at all?
Fontes: No.
Investigator: Okay, so everything's a paper ballot?
Fontes: Yes.
Investigator: Okay. I'm a little confused.
Fontes: Well, I'm a little surprised. Like, I'm literally a little surprised and disappointed by the nature of that question. Like you don't know that in Arizona, every ballot. Every vote is on a paper ballot. There's no such thing as a voting machine in Arizona. The fact that you're using that term is really disturbing.
Investigator: My understanding is at some point, either shortly before the election or shortly after some of the information that came in through ballots. And I don't know if it's scanning or how they tabulate and Im not a computer person.

Fontes: So you know how the information gets into that server, right?
Investigator: No.
Fontes: Ok well, it would be helpful for you to have that information before.
One major issue presented by audit volunteers was that the ballots did not look like they were filled in by a human, but instead by a machine. The Gateway Pundit reported that audit volunteers said, "The bubbles being filled-in absolutely perfect... There's no way a human being did that" in reference to filled-in vote bubbles.
When a ballot is adjudicated, the ballot is duplicated digitally.
It appears that the investigator is looking into the claim that ballots were printed and filled out digitally by a machine.
If he learns that the claims are true, and what Fontes says is true, Fontes could be in big trouble.

MSNBC reports as if the investigator is not questioning a suspect but talking to a friend.
The investigator appears to be using the Columbo tactic, asking simple questions to gather information and find guilt. At one point he even refers to the polling location as a "ballot place".
Why would the investigator want Fontes to think he knows everything about the election process?
It is unknown what part of the meeting each recording segment came from but one interesting thing to note is when Fontes claims that the investigator is pushing a "bullsh*t narrative about a stolen election", and the investigator responds "Well, nobody's talking about a stolen election at all.".
Fake news MSNBC also claimed that the outstanding questions surrounding the 2020 election are nonexistent.
Rassmussen Reports recently tweeted that 56% of voters surveyed believe there was cheating in the 2020 election.
Fact Check: True

MSNBC spun this as if the investigator knew it was a "sham" but it really looks like the investigator is possibly just pulling Fontes' strings.
What is the real importance of this?
No matter where you live, contact Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich and demand that he follow through on this consequential investigation.
