Kamala Harris on Thursday met with abortion providers from Texas, Mississippi, Kentucky and New Mexico at the White House to discuss Texas’ new “heartbeat” abortion law.
Speaking on abortion, Harris said state legislatures cannot circumvent the US Constitution.
Harris told reporters at the White House the right of women to make decisions about their bodies is non-negotiable.
“When people are able to make choices without government interference for themselves in terms of their wellbeing and the wellbeing of their family, in consultation with whomever they may choose, we’re a stronger society,” said Harris.

On the same day that Kamala Harris said people have the right to make their own decisions about their bodies, Joe Biden dropped the iron fist and announced coercive vaccine mandates.
