On Thursday news broke that the Biden administration was charging Americans $2,000 to pay for their flights from Kabul after the Taliban took over the city.

These are the same people who give free healthcare, homes, education, foodstamps, etc to any global citizen who can make their way across the open US southern border!
After public outrage the Biden State Department backtracked on this regulation later in the day on Thursday.

However — the form to pay the US government for your flight is STILL posted online.
Just checked again this AM & despite State Dept spox saying yesterday that “we have no intention of seeking any reimbursement from those fleeing Afghanistan”, the required “U.S. Embassy Kabul Repatriation Assistance Request 2021” form still makes you promise to pay up to $2,000+. https://t.co/146zecorCM
