Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas (born in Havana, and who’s parents escaped Cuba when Castro took power, and lived in Miami, ahead of moving to California) could not be further from what America stands for and wants. He keeps the Southern borders wide open while blatantly lying about the situation there and now he announces that boat people from Cuba and Haiti will not be allowed in the US. Later he said that if they escape they will be sent to other countries and not granted exile in the USA.
Biden/Obama’s Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, announced yesterday that he wouldn’t allow boat people escaping Cuba and individuals from Haiti refuge in the United States.

People fleeing Cuba and Haiti by boat will not be allowed to enter the U.S., even if they demonstrate fear of being persecuted or tortured in their home countries, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas warned on Tuesday.
“Allow me to be clear: if you take to the sea, you will not come to the United States,” Mayorkas said, highlighting the dangers of traversing the Caribbean Sea and the Florida Straits by boat.
CBS goes on to support Mayorkas claiming the US has done this for decades. But it’s not wise to attempt to back anything Mayorkas says due to his habit of lying to the American people.

The Democrats probably don’t want these people in the US because they know that the socialist/communist policies that Biden/Obama are attempting to institute across the US will destroy the US. These people in the last election enthusiastically supported President Trump.
