Barack Obama’s ethics chief Walter Shaub blasted the Biden White House for brokering Hunter Biden’s shady art deal.
Hunter Biden is working with a shady SoHo art dealer with strong ties to China to hold an exhibition in New York this fall.
According to the New York Post, Soho art dealer Georges Bergès has strong ties to China and was once arrested for “terrorist threats.”
Hunter’s garbage artwork (photos below) will “range from $75,000 for works on paper to $500,000 for large-scale paintings.”
Bergès says ‘sales are always confidential to protect the privacy of the collector.’
On Thursday it was reported the White House actually helped Hunter Biden reach a deal to keep buyers of Hunter’s artwork confidential to ‘avoid’ ethics concerns.
Walter Shaub said the art dealing industry is “notorious for money laundering.”
“This is just preposterous,” Shaub said of Hunter Biden’s art selling for up to $500,000.
Shaub said Joe Biden should have talked Hunter Biden out of selling his art because it gives the appearance that he is profiting off of his father’s fame.
